Supplied new on 01. 07. 70 to Mrs. Isabel Ackerley by Middlesex Motors, this lovely Herald 13/60 quickly moved to Kent and has remained here ever since. It has a stamped Service Book up to April 1982 at 30, 260 miles and there are MOT certificates from June 1980 at 28, 425 miles right through to 2017 at 54, 935 miles, so we can say that the current reading of just over 55, 000 miles is correct.

The car was restored in the late nineties and remains in very good order inside and out. The engine was overhauled and is it still smooth and quiet. A Newton Commercial interior went in.

The gearbox was rebuilt about 6, 000 miles ago and in 2001 the owner fitted an overdrive, from a Spitfire we believe, which really gives the Triumph longer legs.

We have sold the Herald a couple of times and we're delighted to have it back. It has been with careful owners and kept in a lovely garage and is clean and very well presented.

There is a full history file going back years, and the Handbook and Service book are included.

Heralds seem to be few and far between nowadays and this one is in lovely condition.
