In Russet brown with a brown fabric interior.
Supplied new by Keene Bros. of Thatcham, Berks to a London company, this smart Dolomite was purchased by its second owner in November 1983 by a gentleman from Kent who kept it for the next twenty six years. It passed through a couple of hands until it was purchased by a local enthusiast in 2010. He cherished the car and regularly attended classic car shows with it.
The Dolomite 1850 HL is a rare car now and this one comes with a four speed manual gearbox with overdrive.
There is a good history file with invoices, MOT certificates, brochures, an Heritage Certificate and a bill for converting the cylinder head for unleaded petrol.
Inside, the interior is in excellent condition with very little wear. The bodywork is very good as is the underside with little or no corrosion.
The paintwork is tired in places reflecting the car's age.
Dolomite Sprint alloy wheels look smart on the car.
We have carried out re-commissioning work after a period of little use and the car drives very nicely.
There really are very few of these nifty Triumph saloons left now and they nice and compact but very usable.
