The bodywork rebuild was entrusted to Mini specialists The Ennion Workshop in Cheshire, the interior trim, including the reclining seats, is Newton Commercial and Bill Richards Racing in Ashford were commissioned to build the 1,330cc Fast Road engine. All the work is documented and there are countless invoices in the file from Mini suppliers detailing every part used during the build.

A Heritage Certificate accompanying the car shows that it has been restored to its original specification, including the extra fuel tank, and it retains its correct 'wet' suspension, and that the engine numbers match the original record. The engine required a full rebuild, so it was decided to mildly uprate it and fit a Maniflow exhaust. Rose Petal wheels are fitted - the original wheels, fully restored, are available by separate negotiation.

In beautiful condition throughout, the Cooper S has covered minimal mileage since being completed.
