In Regency metallic red with Doeskin interior.

In April 1993 a Dr. Pridie purchased this fine facelifted 4.0 litre XJS from H.R. Owen on Western Avenue in London. It was purchased by its next owner in February 1995, again from H.R. Owen, and that gentleman kept the car until recently, only selling it because he was downsizing his house.

We collected the Jaguar from the nice garage that it has lived in since 1995 and have re-commissioned it after a period of limited use.

The bodywork is in superb order with very little evidence showing that it has covered 87,000 miles with its two owners. The paintwork is smooth and the colour suits the car. The bumpers are straight and undamaged and the alloy wheels are in excellent order.

Inside, the leather and woodwork are superb with just some slight wear on the driver's seat upright. The headlining has been renewed. The electric seats work correctly.

A stamped Service Book shows regular care in the early days with the mileage going to 79,000 in 2003 when it was serviced by Mead of Burnham, Jaguar main agents. Subsequent care and maintenance has been carried out by local garages. 

A full Dealer pack with manuals and service books accompanies the XJS and there are two sets of original keys and an original brochure.

The Jaguar is lovely thing to drive. The 4.0 litre, six cylinder engine is smooth and powerful and the car is very comfortable.
