Possibly the best, original Z1 in the country with two owners since 1993 and a full service history. The car is unrestored and correct and original with two keys, the full Dealer Pack and all tools.

It has only covered 38,000 miles since new.

It was registered in Germany in June 1991 and purchased by an Englishman working there in 1993. He brought the car to UK in 1994 and pampered it until it was purchased by a long time BMW collector in 2019.

The Z1 is in outstanding original condition with just the front bumper and bonnet repainted to deal with stone chips. The rest of the paintwork is original. The alloy wheels are immaculate and have new tyres all round. All fixtures and fittings are like new and have not deteriorated. It looks as though the boot has never had anything in it and the hood is the original and barely marked.

Critically, the unique seats are virtually unworn and still have their original and correct alcantara and leather facings - so many Z1s have replacement material because the alcantara deteriorates and the special pattern in the leather fades.

An original Blaupunkt radio cassette was sourced and refurbished recently (it will now play music from your phone via Bluetooth) and all the dash switches and fixtures are unmarked. A correct wind deflector is fitted.

A documented service history from Germany and the UK accompanies the BMW. The cambelt has just been changed and this has been done several times before according to the file.

Needless to say, the Z1 drives like a new car. It's smooth and rattle free and handles beautifully. The doors work correctly and a new Bosch battery has just been fitted.

We are told that there are just 81 BMW Z1s in the UK. We believe that this car is one of the very best and offers a significant saving over prices in Europe.
