In glorious Celtic brown with a tan fabric interior.

The original Sales Invoice shows that this GTE SE6a was purchased in March 1979 by a Mr. Riley of Tyldesley, Manchester. Mr.Riley attached his private number plate 12 DCR and ordered the car with manual gearbox with overdrive, alloy wheels, electric windows and a stereo cassette player.

In 2006, the Scimitar passed to Mr Riley's wife and she kept it until 2016 when it was purchased by his nephew. We acquired it recently have re-commissioned it after a period of little use.

The chassis and underside are excllent and do not seem to have been repaired at any stage. The interior is correct and original and shows little or no wear including the dashboard, which is notorious for warping on these cars. Mechanically, the GTE drives very nicely with good oil pressure and no overheating from the engine. The brakes, suspension and steering all appear correct and the car goes well.

The paintwork is good but showing its age in places. There is virtually no crazing and it polishes up, but it is not perfect. The bumpers and trim are very good.

Remarkably this lovely car has covered 96,000 miles since new. It has obviously been well cared and probably garaged as it has not deteriorated internally or externally as these often do.

A really good, clean, correct GTE.
