In its original 6809 Blood Orange and black seats with Corduroy inlays.
Supplied new by Porsche in Huelpert, Germany in April 1969, this left-hand drive 911T is a 'B-programme' car built on the longer wheelbase and has the desirable five-speed manual gearbox fitted as an option when new. It is fitted with its original 2.0 litre engine running on twin Weber carburettors.
Having been in the United States, it was imported to the UK and subjected to a full bare shell restoration by Lee Peacock, a renowned Porsche restorer, between 2011 and 2014 with everything renewed or refurbished. There is a full photographic record of the build with descriptions detailing progress along with pictures of the chassis number in the luggage compartment, the factory number stamped under the dashboard and of its Factory build number.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirms it as a 'matching numbers' car and that the colour, trim and mechanical specification are correct. Rebuilt Fuchs wheels, a MoMo Prototipo steering wheel, and Dansk polished Sports exhaust were added during the rebuild.
In 2017 the engine received a comprehensive rebuild by Connaught Competition Engines costing £10,000, and has covered 500 miles since.
The 911T is in fine order throughout. There is a documented maintenance progamme since it was restored and it remains in beautiful condition.
