Jaguar Mk11 for sale Sold

SOLD

In dark blue with a blue interior.

This solid but scruffy Jaguar Mk11 started life in 1968 as a 340 automatic. In the nineteen eighties it was fitted with an early Jaguar XJ6 4.2 litre engine and, in later life, a Toyota five speed manual gearbox replaced the automatic unit. These upgrades make the Mk11 a bit more powerful and longer legged - it will cruise happily on the motorway, according to the previous owner. We can confirm that the Jaguar really picks up its skirts and flies!

The car had two owners from 1986 until 2020. The history file has bills and MOT certificates going back to 1976 including an engineers report in 1986 which makes note of the XJ6 engine and evidence of a bodywork overhaul in the eighties.  The invoices include one for the stainless steel exhaust. New chrome wire wheels and tyres are fitted.

A sound car, with little or no rust showing to the bodywork and the underside, the paintwork has deteriorated over time which gives the car a nicely faded look. The interior is clean and wholesome.

Priced to reflect its condition, the Jaguar is a good entry in to Mk11 ownership and the classic car leisure rallies now available.
